La Casa del Porto
Overlooking the tourist harbor and just steps away from Alghero’s ancient walls.
The guest house blends the historical essence of the location with a fresh, contemporary hospitality. The branding and mural project translates the proximity to the sea and Sardinian aesthetics into a minimal, clean, and editorial visual language, tailored for the detail-oriented traveler.
The visual system flows seamlessly from the visual identity to the interior architecture of the house. To connect the experience, each room is named after an iconic beach on the Alghero coast. For this project, I also created site-specific murals in every room: the walls cease to be boundaries and become an immersive extension of the island’s natural heritage and its features.
Brand Identity
The brand identity is built around a minimal, illustrative graphic mark with an artisanal feel. The color palette centers on a saturated powder blue. The typography also adopts a raw approach: hand-drawn, tactile, and intentionally imperfect custom lettering that breaks away from digital fonts to evoke the authenticity of traditional maritime signage.
